Second single from the Denver vocalist's Perception Records debut, following "Move Back" and her million-stream feature on Gordo Flea's "OMW."

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, September 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Denver vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Halle Tomlinson released "Gold" on September 11, 2026
through Perception Records. "Gold" is the second single from Halle Tomlinson's debut album Archive,
following "Move It Back," and turns inward to examine the relationship between love, worth and
self-recognition.

"Gold" is available now on all streaming platforms at

Halle Tomlinson's sound blends Neo-soul and R&B vocals with hip-hop-inspired production and jazz harmony.

She is a staple of the Denver music scene and a recurring presence across Perception Records releases, and
was featured on Gordo Flea's "OMW" in April 2026, which surpassed one million Spotify streams within its first
three months. She first gained national attention on NBC's The Voice.

"Move It Back" introduced an artist caught in a frustrating cycle, struggling with the feeling that every two steps
forward are followed by ten steps back. With "Gold," Halle Tomlinson moves deeper into that journey. The
song reflects the process of learning to recognize one's own value and becoming more conscious of the kind
of love one deserves, from a partner, from friends and family, and from oneself. Where "Move It Back"
established the feeling of being trapped in a loop, Halle Tomlinson's "Gold" begins to uncover the emotional
foundation required to move beyond it.

Luke Titus's hip-hop-influenced drums establish the song's foundation, locking into Halle Tomlinson's R&B-
and jazz-infused bass performance. Andris Mattson's Rhodes adds warmth and depth, while guitars and
synthesizers performed by Halle Tomlinson and Jay.Greens expand the record into a detailed, contemporary
sonic environment. Lush strings performed by violinist and violist Nick Kennerly and cellist Jean-Paul Barjon
bring elegance and scale to the arrangement. Written and arranged by Jay.Greens and Halle Tomlinson, the
strings move organically through the production rather than sitting apart from it.

"Gold" was written by Halle Tomlinson and Jay.Greens, produced by Jay.Greens and co-produced by Halle
Tomlinson. It was recorded by Jay.Greens, with additional engineering from Farrokh Shroff and Elliot
Anderson, at Perception Sound and Sunset Sound. The track was mixed by Josh Fairman and mastered by
Nick Townsend.

"Gold" continues the "future-soul" language introduced by "Move It Back": analog recording techniques, live
instrumentation and sophisticated harmony shaped through a contemporary approach to sampling, editing and
sonic manipulation.

Archive follows Halle Tomlinson as she pursues her potential while attempting to preserve her humanity, joy
and connection to the life unfolding around her. Each release represents a different stage of that journey.

"Move It Back" introduced the loop. Halle Tomlinson's "Gold" begins the process of recognizing the worth that
exists independently of external progress or validation. The singles that follow will find her confronting what
she must release, examining what the pursuit has cost her and ultimately discovering what it means to arrive without abandoning herself along the way.

Developed over more than two years, Halle Tomlinson's Archive was produced primarily at Perception Sound,
Perception Records' commercial recording studio in Downtown Los Angeles, with additional recording at
Sunset Sound in Hollywood and Laskin Productions in Denver.
